How Wagering Works

Wagering requirements are a common condition attached to bonuses. They indicate how many times you must bet the bonus amount before you can withdraw any winnings. For example, if you receive a $100 bonus with a 30x wagering requirement, you need to place bets totaling $3,000 (100 × 30) before you can cash out.

Let’s break down a detailed calculation. Suppose you deposit $50 and receive a 100% match bonus of $50, so you have $100 in total. The wagering requirement is 35x the bonus amount. This means:

Bonus amount: $50
Wagering requirement: 35x
Total wagering needed: 50 × 35 = $1,750

If you play a slot game with a 96% RTP (Return to Player), your theoretical loss during wagering is $1,750 × (1 – 0.96) = $70. This means that, on average, you might lose $70 before meeting the wagering requirement, which could exceed your initial balance. Always check the game contribution percentages, as slots typically contribute 100%, while table games may contribute less (e.g., 10% or 0%).

Some bonuses are “sticky,” meaning you cannot withdraw the bonus amount itself, only the winnings made from it. Others are “non-sticky” and can be released once the wagering is complete. Read the terms carefully to understand which type applies.

Security

Space XY uses SSL encryption to protect your personal and financial data. This technology ensures that any information you transmit is securely encoded. Always check that the URL starts with “https://” and look for the padlock icon in your browser.

Two-factor authentication (2FA) is strongly recommended. This adds an extra layer of security by requiring a code from your mobile device in addition to your password. Enable it in your account settings to reduce the risk of unauthorized access.

the casino is licensed under the Curacao government. While this license allows operation in many regions, you should be aware that winnings from Curacao-licensed casinos may be subject to local income tax, unlike those from MGA or local licenses. Consult a tax advisor to understand your obligations.
